IP Wealth is proud to announce that Michael Beverley has been listed as a finalist for the inaugural 2008 Gold Coast Business News Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Announced at the award ceremony on the Q Deck of Q1, the list of finalists read like a who’s who of Gold Coast Businesses. Zaraffa’s Coffee founder and Master Franchisor Kenton Campbell top out the top award, whilst Michael Kljaic of MKM Group of Companies and Rob Hynes of Hynes Lawyers both received honourable mentions. Not only was Michael honoured to be nominated for this award, but he was also pleased to see numerous IP Wealth clients and associates on the finalist list - Congratulations!
Described as one of the key business events of the year, the Queensland 400 is a unique program that provides public recognition of the achievements of Queensland’s local business heroes – the owners of the state’s leading home-grown enterprises. IP Wealth are proud to announce that we have been listed in the Queensland 400 for 2008 - coming in at 376 in the ladder of well-established and growing Queensland private companies. The Gala Awards Dinner was represented by founders Alicia and Michael Beverley. Making the list of the top 400 privately owned businesses in Queensland is a huge achievement for IP Wealth and an acknowledgment of our dedication and hard work. We are proud to be doing business in Queensland - especially on the beautiful Gold Coast!

The prestigious BRW magazine annually lists the Fast 100 edition - offering the most comprehensive annual guide to the booming SME sector in Australia. Compiled in association with RMIT University's School of Management, it ranks the 100 fastest growing small and medium-size businesses by annual revenue growth over three years.
And after just missing out on being listed in 2007, IP Wealth is proud to announce that we have made the cut in 2008, and we will be featured in this years BRW FAST 100 edition!
This has been a major goal of IP Wealth co-founders Michael and Alicia Beverley, and as such the IP Wealth team is extremely proud of this amazing achievement. We can't wait to see Michael, Alicia and the teams' hard work and dedication being recognised in the Australian business sector.

Yes that's right, we are expanding the IP Wealth empire to make way for our new patents practice and training events... plus we like the idea of a larger boardroom overlooking the Gold Coast Broadwater.
The Office Expansion was announced in late March 2008 - and preparations are now underway for the unveiling of our new sanctuary.
After the impressive interior decorating job our Director of First Impressions, Shanny Matterson, completed for our Business Development Division, we are looking forward to the unveiling of the new and improved IP Wealth Headquarters.
Watch this space for new developments on our progress. We hope to see you soon for a coffee in our new boardroom!
March was a great month for IP Wealth, many goals and achievements were realised, and all in all it was about time the whole team and partners got together to wine, dine and socialise out of the office.

Great food, fantastic company and superb wines to complement, we all had a fantastic evening - indulgence and decadence sums the night up well. Our degustation menu of 7 courses, and 6 complementing wines ensured a very interesting and entertaining evening indeed.

Danielle Jepson Wins International Women's Day Award!

Danielle Jepson, IP Wealth's Operations Leader, won the International Women's Day Young Business Woman Encouragement Award at the gala awards ceremony held at the Gold Coast Arts Centre Ballroom on the 5th of March, 2008.
Danielle was recognised for her amazing achievements as a young leader in intellectual property and her commitment to community service.
At only 22 Danielle is already a biochemist having graduated from Griffith University, a registered Trade Marks Attorney, and is completing the Masters of Industrial Property to ultimately become a registered Patent Attorney.
We are very, very proud of "our Danielle" and we know that this is just the beginning of her stellar career!

The entire team here at IP Wealth saved 9 lives on the 15th of February at the Red Cross Blood Bank here in Southport.
It was a first time for many of us, but we all bravely ventured of the office, on a courtesy bus to our destination with the aim of giving as much of the "family" blood as we could.
Thanks to Danielle for organising this occasion, we hope to do it every quarter and save many more lives.
