The IP Wealth Team is a passionate, talented and dedicated group of individuals, and each team member possesses their own diverse background and qualifications. This diversity has created a fun, energetic, challenging and rewarding working environment for all IP Wealth staff members, and as you can see by the Life at IP Wealth page, each team member is valued for their company as much as they are for their experience and qualifications.

Michael Beverley - Managing Director
Michael Beverley is co-founder and managing director of IP Wealth. His experience with IP spans back to the 90s in licensing where he and his father Vince Beverley worked with the world's heavy-weights in this industry, including Warner Bros, Disney, Lucasfilms, and the NRL. Michael is proud to be a second-generation member of The Executive Connection (TEC) and belongs to TEC 43 in Brisbane. His passion is bringing the art of business and innovation to the IP arena and as such is particularly proud of IP Wealth's inclusion in the BRW Fast Starters list for 2008. Along with an education in science and IT, he is currently undertaking an MBA. Michael is an IP and business mentor on the Gold Mentor panel convened by the Queensland Department of State Development. Michael's favourite coffee is a short macchiato.

Alicia Mayer Beverley - Co-Founder
Alicia Beverley is co-founder of IP Wealth and founder of our IP training academy IPETA. She also created the ground-breaking curriculum for IPETA training programs which are unique in the world of IP and has trained over 1,000 of Australia's most prominent business leaders since 1997. Alicia began her career in intellectual property in the early 1990s, wrote many of the materials provided by IP Australia to the public and was the author of Make It Big! How to Make Money from Your Million-Dolllar Idea published by Allen & Unwin in 2000. Alicia is on sabbatical this year to write a guide to IP for CEOs. In 2007 Alicia won the International Women's Day Most Inspiring Leader award. She is a long time speaker for The Executive Connection (TEC) and a member of TEC 39. Along with her three children, IP Wealth and IPETA, Alicia makes time for an array of community service commitments. The only coffee that could possibly fit into Alicia's busy schedule is the one that can reach her blood stream the quickest - a true espresso.

Danielle Jepson - Registered Trade Marks Attorney and Operations Leader
Danielle Jepson joined IP Wealth in March 2006 and has developed a great passion and dedication to intellectual property. Prior to joining our team Danielle completed a Bachelor of Health Science with a Major in Molecular Medicine from Griffith University. She has also completed the Graduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice from the University of Technology Sydney, and is a Registered Trade Marks Attorney. Danielle is currently studying the Masters in Intellectual Property Law with a view to registering as a patent attorney. Along with her role as an account manager, looking after the IP needs of her various clients, she is also IP Wealth's Operations Leader and is responsible for the Operations Team. In 2007 Danielle won the IP Wealth inaugural Leadership Award. On International Women's Day this year, Danielle was awarded the Young Businesswoman's Encouragement Award. Danielle is also dedicated to community service including Red Cross and joins the Griffith University mentoring program this year. She is a member of Business Network International (BNI) and Business Women Incorporated (BWI). 'Dani' likes her coffee straight-forward and no-nonsense: skinny flat white or a short black.

Christine Sorbello - Registered Trade Marks Attorney
Christine Sorbello (nee Metz) joined IP Wealth in March 2006 and very quickly established a company-wide standard for customer service which we have become proud of ever-since. To recognise her immediate and consistent contribution to this important area, in 2007 Christine won the inaugural IP Wealth Customer Service award. Christine has a Bachelor of Communication majoring in Journalism and PR. She has completed a Graduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice, University of Technology Sydney, and is a registered trade marks attorney. She is a member of BNI and BWI. Christine is dedicated to growing the wealth in her client's businesses and for her this requires fine herbal teas and only the best coffee money can buy preferably in the form of a short macchiato or flat white.

Cassandra Voller - Trade Marks Consultant
Cassandra comes to IP Wealth with an extensive knowledge of meeting business to business needs, marketing, Internet strategy and website optimisation. She has a Bachelor of Business, with a major in Marketing. Cassandra is currently undertaking the Graduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice to become a registered Trade Marks Attorney. In 2007 Cassandra won IP Wealth's inaugural Rising Star award. She is a member of BNI and BWI. Cassandra loves an Earl Grey tea in the morning.

Leticia Hurst - Trade Mark Support/Accounts
Leticia Hurst provides essential support to the Operations team and is also responsible for accounts receivable. She is studying a Diploma of Creative Enterprise, and is also receiving training in all aspects of trade marks. Leticia is involved with the BNI networking breakfasts also, and to keep her measured and even nature she requires several flat whites for the day.

Tania Patmore - Customer Service
Tania spear-heads our Customer Service effort by combining her professional phone skills with her warm and down-to-earth personality and a genuine interest in our clients. She has a Certificate III in Telecommunications and Domestic Ticketing - Qantas College. In between phone calls Tania keeps her Equal dispenser handy to shake into her flat whites.

Jennifer Parker - Director of First Impressions
Jennifer (Jenny) is a recent migrant from the North Island of New Zealand, where for the past four years she has worked at the frontline of customer service and relations. As our "Director of First Impressions", Jenny is the voice of IP Wealth - it is her warm, cheery voice you will hear when your phone call is answered. She also has the extremely important role of greeting guests to the IP Wealth offices warmly and enthusiastically. She will ensure that your visit is a happy and comfortable one. Jenny also provides assistance to Leticia in her role as support to the Operations team, has accounts payable duties, and generally make sure the office runs smoothly and harmoniously. When taking a break, Jenny enjoys an ice chocolate - an exciting drink for an exciting Director of First Impressions!

Kylie Mills - Trade Mark Services
Kylie has a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Bond Universtiy) with 1st Class Honours majoring in Pharmacology and Physiology (Bond University). She has presented her research nationally and has been published in the British Journal of Pharmacology. She uses her strong communication skills and experience in presenting technical information to a variety of audiences to help explain complex topics clearly to her clients. Kylie was so keen to start a career in intellectual property that relocated from Brisbane to the Gold Coast. Now she has less time on the road to drink her sweet chai lattes!

David Baker - Lead Software Engineer
Dave Baker is IP Wealth's longest serving employee next to Michael and Alicia Beverley. He has helped to design the majority of our proprietary and highly innovative software for IP Wealth's many behind-the-scenes systems as well as special projects like Mark Scout an innovative trade mark monitoring service, and GazetteGobbler.com, the world's only free multi-country trade mark search engine. Dave has a Bachelor of Information Technology with a Major in Software Development and Network Security, Bond University. Other than copious amounts of Red Bull, Dave will happily accept a hot chocolate with two sugars.
